Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. Biles was the very first American female gymnast ever to win four gold medals during one Games. in Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles, along with her twins Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents from Houston. Simone began to be interested in the sport of gymnastics when she was only six years old. The coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went on an outing. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Within two years, she dominated this sport. Biles was notable for her consistency in performance, vivacious character, as well as the difficulty of her routines at each of the four events such as vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
