Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager as she entered her teens. Her acting career began at age four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three siblings. When she was in the beginning stages of her career she worked as an extra in television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. At 13 years old, she was cast in her debut film Friday. The film first caught the attention of her part as the struggling teenager Cisely Batiste in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations, including her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good was able to play small film and TV roles during the next couple of years, before transitioning into more serious roles in the mid 2000s. Her role was as Nina on Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. From 1998 to 2001, she was a character on Nina in the Nickelodeon TV show, Cousin Skelter. She also landed tiny roles in movies House Party Down to the last Minute and 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. She also starred in D.E.B.S the action comedy film that earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. After that, she appeared in numerous films like You Got served The Cookout Venom One missed call the waist deep as well as The Love Guru. While active in 2012, she also appeared seen on T.V. in films, she portrayed Mya In Think Like a Man with several stars and actresses such as Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional Friends. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer is originally from Texas and attended Baylor University, Waco Texas. She obtained a bachelor's degree in performing arts. In 2010, she received an education in performing arts. The first time she appeared on screen was the year 2010 in the web series If You Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career acting on screen in 2010 following appearances in local productions. She appeared in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream in its first episode. The show focused on actors who move into an Hollywood California house.
