Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan model and actress predominantly active within the Indian film industry. Jacqueline has been named an year 2007 Miss Sri Lanka Universe winner. Fernandez was born in Canada and is of Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial ancestry, spent most of her growing up in Bahrain. After obtaining a mass communication diploma from the University of Sydney, she was employed at Sri Lanka as a television reporter for a few years prior to beginning to enter the world of modeling. After representing her country at Miss Universe 2006, she became one of the top models in Sri Lanka. She landed Jasmine's role in the Sujoy Ghosh film 'Aladin' during her 2009 professional tour of India. Her breakthrough role came about in 2011 when she was given the role of lead actress Priya in the film 'Murder 2'. It was a huge commercial and critical hit, leading to a thriving professional career path for Fernandez. In the following years, she's appeared in films like Housefull 2 & 3, "Race 2", "Definition Of Fear" and Judwaa 2. She serves as the ambassador for numerous companies and has been awarded numerous honors. She's a dedicated citizen of the community who is a supporter of a variety of organizations and causes.
